The land of the Rising Sun welcomes Thay and the monks of Ba Vang Pagoda
Today, Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh and the monks of Ba Vang Pagoda arrived at Haneda airport, Tokyo, Japan, amidst the cheering sounds of the welcoming Buddhists. Thay at the request of the Buddhists there, will begin his Dharma-propagation tour in Tokyo, then travel to Toyota city, Himeji, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka in order to share Buddhist lessons and meet Buddhists as well as those interested in Buddhism in Japan. Upon arriving at the airport, Thay and the monks were immediately greeted with an air overflowing with the happiness and love of the welcoming Buddhists.
Thay rubbed the head of a baby to wish him blessings.
The welcoming party surrounded Thay and the monks with all their love and reverence.
The welcoming party took a souvenir picture with Thay and the monks. They had prepared a lot of items such as banners, flowers, and flags to express their happiness and love for the venerable teacher.
Hopefully, more and more people will be connected to the Three Jewels.
