The United States is now the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic as the country has the highest coronavirus death toll in the world. Receiving a letter from a young man, who expresses his concern for the situation of COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., on behalf of the Buddhist community of Ba Vang Pagoda, Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh, the abbot, sends His words of condolences and encouragement to people in the U.S. in particular and people all over the world in general. Thay says, "You may have different religions, but if you sincerely trust this, you will also receive the protection from the Buddhas of the ten directions. We hope and pray to the Buddhas of the ten directions and the Three Jewels that you will be well protected, live a peaceful life and overcome the pandemic safely. Everything will be fine and we will live in a world full of humanity and love."
