The preparation work for Ba Vang Pagoda’s Chrysanthemum Festival 2020 is nearly complete
Following the success of Chrysanthemum Festival in 2013 and 2016, this year Ba Vang Pagoda holds Chrysanthemum Festival - the Double Ninth Festival to uphold the spirit of solidarity, humanity and loving-kindness in the hearts of Vietnamese people. >>> Top five impressive festivals at Ba Vang Pagoda not to be missed The Festival takes the image of the small chrysanthemum whose withering leaves never leave the sprig and petals never leave the pistil as the symbol of love and unity. That image fully conveys the message “admire chrysanthemum, missing Central Vietnam” at which the Festival aims to support people suffering from floods in the Central To ensure that Chrysanthemum Festival 2020 takes place as scheduled from 25 to 27 October, 2020 (from the ninth day to the eleventh day in Year of the Rat), Monks, Nuns and lay Buddhists of Ba Vang Pagoda are urgently completing the preparation work. With the permission of Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh, the Monks had a meeting with workers and lay Buddhists of Ba Vang Pagoda about conducting the plan of Chrysanthemum Festival 2020. In accordance with the six points of harmony, all departments of the Pagoda have joined hands to create impressive, beautiful, folk-style artificial scenes with shack houses in the Main Hall yard and models of chrysanthemum created by clever hands of Buddhists.


Despite a heavy workload for the Festival, Buddhists of Ba Vang Pagoda stay joyful. For them, their involvement in the preparation for Chrysanthemum Festival is an opportunity to gain blessings as well as create conditions for many people to form a connection with the Three Jewels.
