Recently, the delegation from Heungryunsa temple in Incheon, South Korea, led by the abbot Most Venerable Jeong Beom-ryun, visited Ba Vang Pagoda on their trip to Vietnam.
When the Heungrryunsa delegation arrived, Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh and the monks of Ba Vang Pagoda kindly welcomed them in the guest room. After the cordial conversation, Thay and the monks took the delegation around the Pagoda, introducing them to daily activities and Buddhist practices of the four-fold assembly at the Pagoda.
“After Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh's Buddhist trip to South Korea last year, I searched for him and Ba Vang Pagoda online,” Most Venerable Jeong Beom-ryun shared some thoughts about this occasion. He added, “I was eager to visit and look at this Pagoda with my own eyes. Upon arrival, I found Ba Vang Pagoda stunning. The warm and kind welcome from the Venerable and his Sangha deeply touched us.”
The visit of the delegation concluded successfully, which fostered the Dharma friendship between Vietnamese and Korean Buddhism.
It is known that after the visit to Ba Vang Pagoda, the delegation also dropped by Yen Tu temple and Bai Dinh temple, as well as several other destinations in Vietnam.

최근에 바방사원은 대한민국 인천 흥륜사 주지 정법륜 스님과 일행이 베트남 여행차 바방사원 방문을 영광으로 환영하였다.
석죽태명스님과 바방사원의 승려님들은 객실에서 손님들을 친밀하게 맞이한 후 사원 주변을 탐방하며 바방사원의 활동과 수행에 대해 소개해 주었다.
일행을 대표하여 정법륜스님 “큰스님 우리 한국방문해서 돌아가시고 나는 인터넷을 통해서 스님 많이 한 통 하더라고요. 전세계로 동영상이나 페이스북을 통해서 활동하시더라고요. 세계적으로 그리고 많이 보고 와보고 싶었어요. 와서 보니까 너무 경치가 좋아요. 앞에 전경도 좋고 스님이 너무너무 친절하게 해주셔서 끝까지 이렇게 너무 잘 해주셔서 내가 눈물 난 정도 감동 받았어요” 말씀하셨다.
방문은 양국 불교의 우정으로 성공으로 마치게 되었다.
바방사원 방문이후 일행은 옌뜨절과 바이딘절인 베트남의 다른 관광지를 이어 탐관하였다.

A Korean Buddhist offered Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh a paper fan, which was calligraphed by Most Venerable Jeong Beom-ryun and painted with drawings by the Buddhist herself. 한국 흥륜사 불교신자 석죽태명스님에게 종이부채를 선물 절단하고 있다. 이 종이부채 소재가 정법륜스님 직접 글씨를 쓰고 불교신다 그림을 그린 것으로 알려졌다.
“When I came here, whether it be the Preaching Hall or any spot, I felt that Ba Vang Pagoda resembled where the Buddha used to preach the Dharma. His teachings can be found anywhere in the Pagoda. Therefore, I feel a strong sense of striving to learn as much as possible. Im grateful and deeply touched by this,” shared Most Venerable Jeong Beom-ryun. “저와서 보니까 그냥 이절 자제가 부처님의 설법 도량입니다. 법당도 그렇고 벽화면 하나 하나 구석 구석이 그냥 말은 설법 도량이에요. 다른 건마다 소재가 있고 부처님 진리가 그냥 그대로 표현하게 되어 있어요. 그래서 나도 이건 좀 많이 배워야 겠다. 감사한 생각을 하고 감동입니다”라고 정법륜스님 나눠주신다.
