Ordination Ceremony: Giving up hair, leaving secular life - taking shelter in the Buddha’s home, resolving to follow His path

Following the Buddha, the Patriarchs and the Sangha, on 25 October 2020, 20 novices, with the resolve to seek supreme enlightenment, repay the four debts of gratitude and benefit sentient beings, are ordained by Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh and Monks. This is a great turning point for the novices when they set their first steps on the path of liberation. Every shave, every falling down lock of hair is also every affliction that has gone away. That is the most important moment that a Buddhas disciple cannot forget, the milestone that will change their whole life from now on. The song "Monastic life" with a high sense of liberation is sung to welcome them to “the Buddhas home”. "One living a monastic life no longer possesses anything, he lives with peace of mind ..". What a noble way of life in this secular world.
