Vesak Celebration 2022 at Ba Vang Pagoda – A celebration of wisdom, unity, and happiness.
In the morning of 8th May 2022, the grand Vesak celebration took place at Ba Vang Pagoda.
As a display of Dharma friendship, Venerable monks from Vietnamese and international monasteries came to celebrate the event with the Sangha of the Pagoda, including:
- President of the Dhammakaya Foundation, Head of the International Buddhist Department (Thailand) — Venerable Pravidesdhammabhorn.
- General Secretary for Head of the Sri Lanka Buddhist Federation — Most Venerable Mugunuwela Anuruddha Thero.
- Vice President of the Bangladesh Department of Buddhism of Forest Monk — Venerable Shoura Jagat Mahathero.
- Head of Buddhist Committee of Ponhea Lueu district, Abbot of Ongbarai pagoda, Kandal province, Cambodia — Venerable PhraTanavimuttiyan Pin Mongkolwutthi.
- Deputy Head of the Buddhist Department, Luang Prabang province, Laos — Most Venerable Luang Por Chantarin Jinadhammo.
Moreover, the campus welcomed more than 40,000 people coming to rejoice and pay their homage to the Great Father. Many spectacular commemoration activities were held to honor the noble life of the Buddha and his teachings. Through this event, may the Dharma be long-lived, the Buddhas disciples be harmonious and united, and the world be peaceful and happy.
The Sangha calmly walked into the front yard of the Main Hall to attend the event.

After a long time of social distancing, the festive vibe on the Buddhas birthday was felt again on the campus of Ba Vang Pagoda.
Chairman of the Dhammakaya Foundation, Head of the International Buddhist Department (Thailand) — Venerable Pravidesdhammabhorn had a visit to Vietnam and attended the Vesak Celebration 2022 at Ba Vang Pagoda.
Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh, the abbot of Ba Vang Pagoda (Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam) delivered the Vesak Celebration Speech by the Chairman of the administration council, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha
Assistant Director of international Affairs Department, Chief of AEC Affairs Division — Venerable Phramaha Surat Luangthada poured water to bathe the newborn Buddhas statue.
Thai Buddhist delegation in pure white dress respectfully attended the opening ceremony.
Vesak Celebration 2022 at Ba Vang Pagoda also welcomed many leaders and representatives of organizations and agencies in Vietnam.

The Vesak Celebration 2022 of Ba Vang Pagoda welcomed the presence of Deputy Head of the Buddhist Department, Luang Prabang province, Laos — Venerable Luang Por Chantarin Jinadhammo.
The guests of honor offered incense to pay homage to the Three Jewels.
Hopefully, from this years Celebration onwards, there will be many more opportunities for Buddhists near and far to come together at Ba Vang Pagoda and rejoice under the light of the Dharma.
