Royal Thai Police’s high-ranking delegation visited Ba Vang Pagoda
On the afternoon of May 28, 2023, a high-ranking delegation of the Royal Thai Police, led by Pol.Lt.Gen. Prachuap Wongsuk - Assistant Commissioner General Royal Thai Police, paid their first visit to Ba Vang Pagoda, Vietnam. Knowing their arrival, under the instruction of Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh (the abbot), representative monks of Ba Vang Pagoda welcomed the delegation and led them to the Main Hall to offer incense and pay homage to the Buddha. Afterward, the monks took the delegation to some places around the campus, including the meditation garden, Golden Bridge, kitchen zone, and the Great Lecture Hall.
Sharing about this visit, particularly the Great Lecture Hall at the Pagoda, Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk expressed: “It is my fourth visit to Vietnam and my first time to Ba Vang Pagoda. I felt very impressed by the Pagoda. Its beautiful and outstanding location along with serene space are so suitable for meditation and Dharma learning. The monks took us to some places in Ba Vang Pagoda, prominently the Great Lecture Hall. I must say that this is the greatest and most solemn lecture hall I've ever seen. I think it is the largest Lecture Hall in the region.”
At the end of their visit, the delegation expressed their happiness and gratitude for the monks' warm welcome.

The Royal Thai Police delegation attentively watched videos about the Grand Vesak Celebration 2023 at Ba Vang Pagoda.
Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk, along with the Royal Thai Police delegation, had a close conversation with the monks of Ba Vang Pagoda.
In the Main Hall of Ba Vang Pagoda, the Thai delegation solemnly offered incense and prayed to the Buddha.
Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk and the delegation paid their great respect to the Three Jewels and followed the prayer of the guiding monk.
“Paying homage to the Tathagata Like the Devas, bathe your body.” Ba Vang Pagodas representative monk and Mr. Prachuap Wonsuk offered scented water to bathe the Buddha.
The green and fresh landscape of the meditation garden, one of the peaceful places at Ba Vang Pagoda, impressed Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk and other members of the delegation.

The delegation had the chance to visit the kitchen zone of Ba Vang Pagoda and shared about its compact and effective designs. Also, the delegation learned about how Ba Vang Pagoda could serve tens of thousands of free meals for attendees during grand events.
The monks and the delegation captured the meaningful moment in the worlds biggest on-mountain Buddhist Lecture Hall, in front of the statue of the Buddha entering Nirvana.
Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk and the delegation respectfully joined hands and offered prayers in front of the Buddhas altar.
“I must say that this is the greatest and most solemn lecture hall Ive ever seen.” - shared Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk. The construction of the Great Lecture Hall at Ba Vang Pagoda left a great impression on the Royal Thai Police delegation.
In the “Buddhist ascetics with the forest” art gallery, the delegation had a chance to listen to the monk sharing about wishes and virtues of Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh (the abbot) and life of the Bhikkhus in the forest.
After their visit, the monks, on behalf of Ba Vang Pagoda, gave some souvenir gifts to Mr. Prachuap Wongsuk.
