In Vietnam, there is Fansipan. It is the highest mountain in Vietnam and widely known as “the Roof of Indochina”. Mountains are often mentioned in Buddhist Sutras as well. The Vulture Peak, or Gijjhakuta, was the place where the Buddha spoke many Mahayana discourses.
