Honored venerable Sangha, distinguished representatives of government agencies, authorities, relatives, and acquaintances,
Ladies and gentlemen,
Our beloved mother, Mrs. Ngo Thi Sac, passed away due to old age, declining health although our family had treated and cared for her wholeheartedly. Especially in her last days, she was kindly visited and encouraged by venerable monks who chanted sutras and inspired her to generate the Bodhi mind. However, as her time has come, she breathed her last at 11:02 AM on August 20, 2024, at the venerable age of 93.
With deep familial bond, the venerable Sangha and distinguished guests have attended, offered condolences, incense, and recited sutras for our mother's peaceful rest. We are profoundly touched and moved by your compassion and kindness. We believe that these noble hearts and support will help her will soon be reborn into a peaceful and blessed realm. This is also the earnest wish of our entire family.
On behalf of our beloved mother and family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the venerable Sangha and distinguished guests. In response to your great kindness, there's nothing else we can do other than bear your benevolence in mind and vow to diligently practice the Dharma, devoting ourselves to Buddhism and the nation. May all the Venerables enjoy lasting health and continuous spiritual progress. Wishing peace and health, well-being be upon their families.
In addition, we would like to thank those who, due to distance or hectic schedule, were unable to attend the funeral, but have sent letters, wreaths, prayers, and condolences to the family.
Our gratitude and praise also extend to the laypeople from the Buddhist clubs and groups of Ba Vang Pagoda, as well as the government and people of Ngoc Quan and Nhieu Dau villages, who enthusiastically supported the funeral's Organizing Committee.
