Honored venerable Sangha, distinguished representatives of government agencies, authorities, relatives, and acquaintances,

Ladies and gentlemen,

Our beloved mother, Mrs. Ngo Thi Sac, passed away due to old age, declining health although our family had treated and cared for her wholeheartedly. Especially in her last days, she was kindly visited and encouraged by venerable monks who chanted sutras and inspired her to generate the Bodhi mind. However, as her time has come, she breathed her last at 11:02 AM on August 20, 2024, at the venerable age of 93.

With deep familial bond, the venerable Sangha and distinguished guests have attended, offered condolences, incense, and recited sutras for our mother's peaceful rest. We are profoundly touched and moved by your compassion and kindness. We believe that these noble hearts and support will help her will soon be reborn into a peaceful and blessed realm. This is also the earnest wish of our entire family.

On behalf of our beloved mother and family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the venerable Sangha and distinguished guests. In response to your great kindness, there's nothing else we can do other than bear your benevolence in mind and vow to diligently practice the Dharma, devoting ourselves to Buddhism and the nation. May all the Venerables enjoy lasting health and continuous spiritual progress. Wishing peace and health, well-being be upon their families.

In addition, we would like to thank those who, due to distance or hectic schedule, were unable to attend the funeral, but have sent letters, wreaths, prayers, and condolences to the family.

Our gratitude and praise also extend to the laypeople from the Buddhist clubs and groups of Ba Vang Pagoda, as well as the government and people of Ngoc Quan and Nhieu Dau villages, who enthusiastically supported the funeral's Organizing Committee.

If there were any inconveniences during the funeral, we would kindly ask for your understanding and forgiveness.

Once again, we would like to express our sincere respect and gratitude!

LETTER OF CONDOLENCE

On behalf of all members and devotees of the Dhammakaya Foundation and Wat Phra Dhammakaya Temple worldwide, I express my deepest heartfelt condolences on the peaceful passing of Mrs. Ngo Thi Sac, the most beloved mother of Most Ven. Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh. There cannot be any amendment to the loss incurred, but our sympathy will always be with Most Ven. Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh and his devotees.

Mrs. Ngo Thi Sac lived an exceptional life. She has fostered one the greatest Buddhist masters- Most Ven. Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh. A person's lifetime achievement is a testimony of a mother's effort and dedication. Mrs. Ngo Thi Sac has exemplified remarkable motherhood through her lifelong commitment. There are no words to describe the sadness we all share for her passing.

Mrs. Ngo Thi Sac has departed with the blessing of the Noble Triple Gem. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
