On July 18, 2020, Associate Professor Bui Anh Tuan, Rector of Foreign Trade University, had an opportunity to visit Ba Vang Pagoda with the University Leadership Council and 30 postgraduate students of the Executive Master of Business Administration—EMBA programme. During the visit, Assc. Prof. Bui Anh Tuan and the group spent time sightseeing the Pagoda and making prostrations to Buddhas. In addition, they learned about Buddhism through a Dharma talk of Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh—the Abbot of Ba Vang Pagoda.

Before the talk started, the group had a chance to explore the Dharma propaganda of Thay and His wish of universal salvation for all beings as well as the diligent and strict practice of the Sangha through the introduction of Buddhists of the Pagoda.

Afterwards, Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh showed up in the welcome of the assembly, sharing that He was being in the forest for self-cultivation but decided to get out for the meeting with Assc. Prof. Bui and the group. Thay started the Dharma talk with the story of Shakyamuni Buddha and the happiness He attained. When it comes to happiness—the goal that everyone longs for, Thay explained the pleasure of money, fame and affection in the world was just temporary and short-term happiness. The genuine and absolute eternal happiness is Nirvana—the happiness that the Buddha found for the sake of all sentient beings. Having listened to those sharings from Thay, the teachers and students in the group had the chance to learn about the great wisdom of the Buddha and His compassionate mind for the happiness of all beings. >>> Who is the Buddha? – Ba Vang Talks: Episode 4

From then, they will build and develop the business ethics to contribute to the growth of the countrys economy. Read more Ambassador H.E. Konstantin V.
