Following the Sangha to repent bad karma and pray for peace in the Emperor Liang's Repentance Dharma assembly
Repentance in Buddhism is a powerful practice that purifies the body and mind, helps reduce sins, generates merits and wisdom, and transforms bad karma. In the Emperor Liangs Repentance Sutra, it is written: “The Buddha taught: ‘Offenses arise from causes and conditions, and cease due to causes and conditions.. The power of repentance is inconceivable.”
Understanding the great benefits of repentance, Buddhists have respectfully requested Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh and the monks of Ba Vang Pagoda to establish a solemn Dharma assembly practicing repentance at Emperor Liangs Repentance. During this time, the fourfold assembly of Ba Vang Pagoda—monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen—come together to repent for their sins and pray for peace for themselves, their families, as well as all sentient beings.
Besides, these days, our country, Vietnam, is suffering serious consequences of super typhoon Yagi. In addition to providing assistance to people in an affected area, the Pagoda community is also diligent in Buddhist practice to dedicate merit and pray for peace and favorable weather for the country.
Hopefully, through this sincere practice, participants will be able to transform their present karma, gain their benefits, and attain happiness and peace. May the country be peaceful, the weather favorable, and the people happy.
