Ba Vang Pagoda’s Chrysanthemum Festival 2020 - Reaching out to our beloved central Viet Nam

Chrysanthemum has long been considered a symbol of a man of honour. Additionally, it is also a metaphor for solidarity, strong bonds, humanity and faithfulness.
Chrysanthemum Festival is Ba Vang Pagodas traditional festival licensed under Decision No. 607/GP-SVHTTDL dated 21 July, 2014 by the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This year in the context of our beloved Central Vietnam heavily suffering from natural disasters; in compliance with Document No.2372/UBND-VHTT dated 06 October, 2020 of Peoples Committee of Uong Bi City on the organisation of Ba Vang Pagodas Chrysanthemum Festival 2020; with the aim of truly promoting the active value of the Festival and the national tradition of mutual support - “good leaves cover torn leaves”; in response to the appeal of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to all the people to incline towards Central Vietnam, the organising committee board decides to make the 2020 Festival become a Festival of donations for people in the Central. We hope that all Buddhists, all people, benefactors and sponsors join hands with the Festivals organizing committee board to share difficulties and losses with the people of our beloved Central Vietnam!
