Thay witnessing the ceremony for generating Bodhi mind for the Ba Vang Pagoda’s community
“I am very pleased to witness this ceremony. After generating the Bodhi vow, we will actualise it by diligently practising good deeds without regression. We must do everything that is good according to the Buddhas teachings,” delightedly shared Thay.
Every year's 19th day of the sixth lunar month is a special day for all Buddhists of Ba Vang Pagoda. On 28 July (the 19th day of the sixth lunar month), the Pagodas fourfold community learned from the conducts of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, practising making the Bodhi vow under the witness of the abbot Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh.
Besides, tens of thousands of Ba Vang Pagoda's Buddhists in many regions worldwide practised making the Bodhi vow under Thay's witness. This is an important and special ceremony held yearly at Ba Vang Pagoda as participants have the opportunity to learn from the virtues of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to sow Bodhi seed, helping them progress on the path of attaining enlightenment. (Due to C.O.V.I.D.1.9, many Buddhists had to participate in the ceremony online).
