Wise instruction and detailed guidance from Thay
Joining this retreat, participants had a chance to learn from a virtuous and compassionate zen master - Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh, who mastered the art of taming the mind.
“No dry lessons, just profound but simple explanations and demonstrations, Thay has touched our heart and helped us with our struggles so we can be back on track” - Ryan showed his humble gratitude to Thay.
“Thank you so much Thay for answering our questions and giving us the opportunities to learn about meditation and accommodating us in this magnificent sanctuary,” Yanti and Ralph - retreatants from Belgium and the Philippines shared.

Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh gained his teacherless wisdom through practicing Buddhist meditation, therefore he wants to disseminate the Buddhas teachings to everybody.
Beginner friendly
“The meditation is very suitable for beginners like me, and I'm striving for the next level!”. Noel Choy, a retreatant from Hongkong showed her enthusiasm for practicing meditation. Ralph, told that he was surprised by the hospitality that he received as everyone was very friendly.

Retreatants taking their initial steps in reflecting their body and mind.
“You can not compare meditating at home and meditating in a real pagoda, it's a whole nother spectrum, I felt more confident and solemn while doing sitting meditation under the monks' guidance,” Vladimir Neskin, a Russian retreatant of the November retreat said. “Don't doubt, just come and you will understand everything without remorse,” added he.
Meaningful and beneficial
“I'm very satisfied with this retreat, I will share this wonderful experience with my family and friends so everyone can benefit from it.”
Ryan Jay, a November retreat participant from the Philippines joyfully shared his satisfaction. As for a free meditation retreat, first-time enrollees never ceased to be amazed by how the retreat exceeded their expectations. Retreatants learned how to live without electronic devices and social platforms and actually felt good while doing it. “I haven't felt the urge to take my phone out and scroll anymore!” - Yanti Pattyn, a Belgian retreatant expressed. Through the Dharma talk by Thay, many retreatants learned how to deal with their own problems by developing a cause-and-effect way of thinking and controlling their own minds and body through meditation.

Not only can you find your inner self but you can find new friends from all over the world.
Lush greeneries and beautiful landscape
Separated from the residential area, it is understandable that everyone who had set foot in the pagoda loved the atmosphere here. As nature is all around, you can simply sit and meditate anywhere then it could be a perfect spot. Take a chance to meditate up in the mountain, smell the forest scents and you will sense a touch of tranquility, or pick a random spot to meditate in the green garden, hearing the birds chirping and streams murmuring, your mind will be lighter anytime. “I felt so comfortable in the meditation session in the Bodhi garden.” - shared Katerina Blechova, a Czech participant in the November retreat.
